Introduction
Narayan Veliancode is a well-known figure in the Malayali expatriate community in the UAE. He is widely recognized for his contributions to cultural initiatives, charity work, and community welfare activities in Dubai. Currently serving as the Person-in-Charge at Al Moosa Towers 1 & 2 under Arenco Real Estate, Narayan Veliancode has built a long and respected career both professionally and socially.
Originally from Veliancode village in Malappuram district of Kerala, Narayan Veliancode has spent decades contributing to the growth of community activities while also fulfilling important responsibilities in the corporate sector.
Professional Career at Arenco Real Estate
Narayan Veliancode has dedicated over 25 years of his professional life to the A. A. Al Moosa Group, a major business enterprise in the UAE.
The group was established in the early 1970s by Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Almoosa as an architectural and engineering consultancy firm. Over the years, the organization has expanded its operations into several industries including:
- Architecture and Engineering Consultancy
- Interior Design
- Real Estate Development
- Hospitality
- Furniture Manufacturing
- Mattress and Lighting System Manufacturing
- Car Rental Services
Today, Arenco Real Estate, a division of the group, manages a wide portfolio of properties including:
- Residential apartments
- Villas
- Office buildings
- Warehouses
- Staff accommodations
- Hotel apartments
The group has also added luxury hotels to its portfolio, including Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Hilton Dubai Creek, and two Four Points by Sheraton hotels.
At Al Moosa Towers 1 & 2, Narayan Veliancode oversees the complete maintenance and operational management, ensuring the smooth functioning of the entire facility.
Early Career and Professional Experience
Before joining the A. A. Al Moosa Group, Narayan Veliancode began his career in 1982 with the Bin Ladin Group, where he worked as an Electrical Supervisor.
He continued working with the organization until 1990, gaining valuable experience in technical and supervisory roles.
Later that year, he joined the A. A. Al Moosa Group, where he has been serving with dedication ever since.
Role in Dubai Art Lovers Association (DALA)
Narayan Veliancode is also known for his active role in cultural organizations in Dubai. He is an ex-founder member of the Dubai Art Lovers Association (DALA).
During his tenure as the Secretary of DALA, he played a significant role in organizing numerous cultural and social initiatives that brought together members of the Indian community in the UAE.
Some of the key initiatives he led include:
- Annual Youth Festival involving UAE schools
- Keralolsavam, celebrating the cultural heritage of Kerala
- Cultural programs promoting art, music, and literature
Through these activities, Narayan Veliancode helped preserve and promote the rich traditions of Kerala among expatriates living in the UAE.
Charity and Humanitarian Activities
Apart from cultural initiatives, Narayan Veliancode has been deeply involved in humanitarian work for many years.
Working in coordination with the Indian Embassy and Consulate, he has actively supported several welfare initiatives for expatriate workers.

- Assisting labourers to find new jobs or return to their home country

He strongly believes that expatriate communities often face exploitation and has participated in various initiatives advocating for the rights and welfare of overseas Indians.
Early Political and Student Activities
During his student days, Narayan Veliancode was actively involved in political and student movements in Kerala.
His roles included:
- Malappuram District Secretary of the Students Federation of India (SFI)
- Secretary of Perumbadavam Veliyangodu Local Committee of CPI (M)
He completed his studies at MES College, Ponnani and later pursued a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Personal Life
Narayan Veliancode was born to Karappu, an agriculturist, and Cheerukutty, a homemaker.
He is married to Geetha, a homemaker, and the couple has two children:
- Neethu, an MBA graduate working at Halliburton in Dubai
- Ashik, currently pursuing BCom at Victoria College in Sharjah
In his free time, Narayan Veliancode enjoys reading and participating in sports activities, which keep him active and engaged.
