A Career Spanning Five Decades
The professional journey of Ahamed Koya began in 1973 at Salam Studio and Stores, Abu Dhabi, where he developed the customer-focused work ethic that later defined his leadership style. He continued there until 1982.
In the same year, he moved to Dubai to establish Grand Store, taking charge as Branch Manager. His dedication and performance earned him the role of General Manager, where he served until 2005—an impressive tenure marked by growth and credibility.
With decades of experience in retail, management, and business operations, he began his entrepreneurial path in 2005 by launching his own establishment, JGT. In 2006, he expanded again with Elite Management Services Dubai.
Ahamed Koya was also an active member of the Indian Business Professional Group, contributing to the professional community across the UAE.
Family, Roots & Values
A graduate in B.A., Ahamed Koya hails from Thekkat House in Thiruvangoor, Kozhikode. Today, he is settled in Sharjah with his wife, Mrs. Ummu Salma, a homemaker. They are blessed with four children, each shaping successful paths:
