A sports enthusiast by nature, he pursued Journalism from the Institute of Journalism, Press Club, Trivandrum, which laid the foundation for his accomplished media career.
He currently serves as the Head of News at the Arabian Radio Network (ARN) and is a prominent member of the We Care Foundation.

He is passionate about cricket, enjoys watching television, and values time spent with family. He is married to Anasooya, a homemaker, and they are blessed with two sons.
