Mr. O.C. Philipose began his professional life in 1969 at a company in Cochin, where he gained early exposure to business operations. He later moved to Ras Al Khaimah, working in Free Zone and manufacturing units, further sharpening his industry experience.
Between 1976 and 1983, he served in a private chemicals company, absorbing the technical and commercial nuances of the sector. These years of learning became the base upon which he built Al Khowahir Chemicals Trading LLC, which today operates branches across the GCC.
Beyond business, Philipose is also a member of the Y’Men Club of International, Dubai Chapter, staying connected to community initiatives.
Family, Roots & Values
A graduate in Commerce, O.C. Philipose hails from Ovanalil House in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta. Now settled in Sharjah, he shares his life with his wife Mrs. Leelama Philipose, a former member of the Dubai Government Health Department.
Their children—Leejo Philip and Ligy Philip—now help lead the family business.

Ligy Philip, who holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering and an MBA, also contributes to the business operations.
