A native of Guruvayur in Thrissur District, Kerala, M.K. Ahamed began his career in Dubai as a manager at Gulf Co., a foodstuff company, where he served for 15 years. In 1981, he transitioned into entrepreneurship by founding Shijana Trading — a venture he single-handedly built from the ground up.
His vision, work ethic, and resilience laid the foundation for the company’s enduring success. Beyond business, he is a co-founder and investor in Cochin Exports Group, a Kerala-based enterprise dealing in automotive spare parts and electrical goods with operations in Cochin, Calicut, Coimbatore, Perumbavoor, Alappuzha, Tripunithura, and North Paravur.
