Kunjumon Parakkal – MD of Arabian Printing Dubai
Kunjumon Parakkal is the Managing Director of Arabian Printing & Advertising FZ-LLC, a leading printing and advertising company based in Dubai’s International Media Production Zone (IMPZ). With over 33 years of experience in Dubai, he has successfully contributed to the growth of the media and advertising industry.
Career Journey of Kunjumon Parakkal
Mr. Parakkal began his career in 1969 as an administrative staff at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), India. He moved to Dubai in 1978 and worked with companies like M/s Ellis Gulf, Tykisha Japan, Lintas Middle East, and Artline Advertising before founding his own company. In 1983, he started AFDA, which later evolved into Promo Advertising and, in 2007, Arabian Printing & Advertising FZ-LLC, employing 60 talented professionals today.
Achievements and Recognition
- Honorified as Chevalier by the Church in 2003.
- Member of Lions Club of Cochin Empire and Melvin Johns Fellow.
- First Malayali expatriate to own a villa in Dubai when expatriates were allowed land ownership in 2003.
- Successfully led a team of specialists in design, prepress, press, and postpress operations.
Personal Life and Interests
Born in Parakkal House, Nedumbassery, Ernakulam, Kunjumon Parakkal is married to Mrs. Annamma. The couple has two children: Dr. Smily Titus, a dental college professor, and Mrs. Resmi Thomas, who works as a manager at Arabian Printing & Advertising FZ-LLC. He enjoys swimming, badminton, movies, music, and actively participates in social, cultural, community, and charity activities.
