Dr. Kumar K.V is a highly respected Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy at Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU). RAKMHSU was established under the Ras Al Khaimah Human Development Foundation (RAK–HDF) with the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi. The university is the first comprehensive medical university in the UAE, offering accredited programs such as MBBS, BDS, BPharm, BS Nursing, and RNBSN.

A native of Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Kumar K.V hails from Matoor Bhavan (MRA-B19), Ambalamukku, Kerala. Beyond his academic achievements, he is known for his humble nature and commitment to student growth.
He resides in Ras Al Khaimah with his wife, Dr. Anjana Shankar, and they are blessed with one child, Ananthapadmanabhan, aged 13. His strong family values and dedication to medicine define his inspiring personal and professional journey.
