Early Life and Education of Dona Sebastian
Born to P. J. Sebastian, a businessman, and Vincy Sebastian, Dona completed her schooling at Indian High School, Dubai. She later earned a BA (Hons) in PR, Advertising and Media from Middlesex University and pursued a course in Civil Aviation at Emirates Aviation College, widening her academic and creative horizons.
Media Career and Achievements
Before joining Hit 96.7 FM, Dona Sebastian built an impressive portfolio as a TV anchor. She has hosted shows on Asianet, Jeevan, Kairali and Asianet Plus. Her media journey began early—during her school years, she worked as an RJ at Recess Radio for several years and won a prestigious Radio Bursary Scholarship, where she trained with a leading radio presenter.
Her school days were filled with creativity and leadership. Dona served as a member of the students’ council for eight consecutive years and actively anchored programmes for Malayalam television channels. She also worked as a freelance voice-over artist for various radio commercials.
