Mr. Abdul Latheef is the Managing Director of Sheikh Maktoum Bin Haher Al Maktoum Group, a position he has held for over 10 years, driving the company’s growth and business success in the United Arab Emirates. With over three decades of international experience, Mr. Latheef is a respected entrepreneur and business leader in the Gulf region.
Professional Journey
Mr. Latheef began his career in Saudi Arabia, where he worked for 18 years, gaining valuable experience in various sectors. In the year 2000, he relocated to Dubai and joined Absolute International Real Estate. Just a year later, in 2001, he established his own company — Sheikh Maktoum Bin Haher Al Maktoum Group — reflecting his entrepreneurial vision and leadership.
In addition to real estate and business management, Mr. Latheef also owns Butterfly Industrial Laundry in Ajman, a large-scale industrial laundry operation employing around 150 staff, catering to major commercial clients across the UAE.
Recognitions & Community Involvement
Mr. Abdul Latheef received the Business Excellence Award from the Nilambur Pravasi Association Dubai in 2009, recognizing his achievements and contributions to the expatriate business community. He also serves as an Executive Committee (E.C.) Member of the same association.
Interests & Personal Life
Apart from his business ventures, Mr. Latheef has a keen interest in singing, football, and reading. A B.Com graduate, he hails from Pulikkal House, Nilambur in Malappuram District, Kerala.
He is married to Mrs. Hajarah, a homemaker. The couple has three children:
