The success story of George V Nereaparampil stands proof that nothing is impossible if you are committed and hard working in nature to materialize your visions. Assisting his father’s family business at the age of seven George was learning and analyzing the hook and nuke of the business world which helped him a lot to establish a global business chain successfully after completing his technical education.

In 1976 while he reached in Sharjah as an automobile mechanic George observed the huge necessity and scope of air conditioning. His vision and dynamism on this thought was the inspiring spirit to start the business establishment named Air Condition and Refrigeration Products and Power solutions Services at Sharjah in 1977. The progress of the establishment encouraged him a great extend to expand the business by setting up GEO Electricals Trading & Contracting Co. LLC at Sharjah dealing with all major MNC brands available and the company certified under ISO later. At present the company is capable of providing rental cooling and power solutions not only for GCC but to all major corporate companies and events also across the world. The group is providing rental cooling solutions for major global event management programs. For more than 900 such international events the group provided rental cooling and power solutions.The venues consist Air shows, Ruler’s palace, Saddam Hussain’s palace at Iraq, RTA Metro rail projects etc. The latest of such one was The Commonwealth Games conducted recently at New Delhi. Some prominent MNCs are on the run for joint ventures for which negotiations are in progress. A fully export oriented company manufacturing large- tonnage, water cooled centrifugal chillers has been started in India under the banner GEONAIR. The first batch of its product is expected to run out by 2011.

George could not deliver his last tributes to his father in 1977 due to lack of direct flight to Cochin from any part of the world. He could only reach his home town from UAE via Mumbai caching a connecting flight to Cochin after four days of his father’s demise.

It was this painful experience made him to extend his helping hand to make the Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) in to reality by securing major part of the shares which were unsold. Being the biggest single share holder and the Director of CIAL George led the project in to reality which became a boon to the working Keralaites around the world.

All keralites living abroad will be obliged to him for this humanitarian service. CIAL contributed much to the development of tourism also. His major investments are meant for the well being of the public which make him different from others.

As a philanthropist George has contributed immensely to various social organizations and charitable trusts functions in Kerala. Many more such trusts are functioning well under his patronage. He is the trustee of CIAL Charitable Trust. He is leading a few health care units in India as its Director. As the major shareholder of a super speciality hospital he gives much attention to the institution as its Director. In the position of the Director of Cochin Kalabhavan he is promoting talented young artistes to pave the to Film industry. All these services stand proof to his attitude and commitment to philanthropy. His cinema theatre Georgettan’s Ragam is the best of its kind in Thrissur District.

The most important project to take place under his vision is to inter connect all major rivers and lakes of Kerala to a centralized canal which will stretch the state from one end to the other. Besides the canal a three lane road infrastructure and an intercity super fast rail system can also be provided.

George is hailing from Nereaparampil House of Mannampetta at Thrissur. His wife Molly George is the inspiring true force behind all achievements of George and as the director of the group she looks after the HRD and other day today activities of his business. Their elder daughter Geni Cybee is married to Cybee Paul an engineer with Emirates Airlines. The younger daughter Gemi, a commerce graduate is assisting her father as Finance Manager. The son Geon George is doing his graduation and also helping the Geo Group as Assistant Manager.
