An enthusiastic short story writer, Gafoor Pattambi works with the Texas Printing Press, in their sales department. He has penned a collection of beautiful short stories ‘Thee Mazhayude Aarambham’ published by Palm Publications. In 2013 he received the Gala Award for this book. Moreover, many of his short stories have been published in several periodicals and his write-ups have also been recognized very well.
A native of Pattambi town in Palakkad district of Kerala, Gafoor belongs to the Palathingal house and is the son of two nobleteachers late Koyakutty Master and late Zainabi Teacher. He is married to Rama Gafoor, a homemaker and they have a son Amal Gafoor studying in grade nine. Gafoor considers writing as his specialized field; however he cherishes the company of books.
