Wassim Salim begins his career, when he joined Dubai Dutty Free in 2008. He worked there for 6months. He was born and brought up in Dubai. In 2009 he joined family business with father- Crossings Internationals(FZC).
Crossings Internationals(FZC) are the official distributors for all major tobacco manufacturers, the tobacco category represents almost 40% of the total sales of the majority 78 Duty Free Operators in Horn, East, Central and west Africa. They have monthly delivery of tobacco products to all Operators, Emirates operators to 85% of the countries, providing logistics directly from Saif Zone. Their core activities include Official Duty Free & Travel retail Distributors for all Major Tobacco, Cosmetics & Confectionary products to Middle East & Africa Travel Retail & Duty Free Outlets.
Wassim Salim, who is a BBA graduate belongs to Valiyakath House at Guruvayoor in Thrissur district. Business man Salim Mohamed is his father and Najma salim his mother. He is interested in playing Basket Ball, Football and in art form such as Dancing and Drama. He spent leisure time for reading and Desert Biking( Quad Biking).
He is the member of many social organizations. In fact he is the member of Malayali organization- Indian Association Sharjah, Peace Lovers Association (A Muslim Community Association) and also a Sharjah Shooting Club Member.
