Rajeev Cherai, a native of Cherai in Eranakulam district, is a programme executive at Radio Asia 1269 AM. Also a talented mimicry artiste, Rajeev has performed with Nadir Shah, Dileep, Salim Kumar and Jayaram. He has been working in Radio Asia for the past 17 years. He has also done many roadshows for Radio Asia.
Rajeev was born as the son of Ravindran and Vishalam of Mattappilly house. He completed education at Paravoor Boys High School, SNM Malayinkara and Polytechnic, Kalamassery.
Rajeev is married to Sangeetha, a teacher. The couple has a son- Aadithya, a 6th standard student.
