On 1985 he started his own business as Union Electro Mechanical LLC having branch at Ras Al Khaima. At the beginning the company had 80 staffs. Now it is starting its new venture at Guruvayoor as developer as Union Builders. He was a member of Guruvayoor NRI Association. He was a member of social organization, Emirates art Centre, Sruthilaya (E.C) Member, Vidhya trust Member. He was also a member of India Club Dubai.
Having qualified PDC and DIP(A/c), Murali .M.V belongs to Mundathara House at Palayur in Thrissur. Now settled in Dubai with his wife Mrs Sindhu, who is a housewife. They are blessed with three children, Minnu Muralidharan, Swathy Muralidharan and Swetha Muralidharan. Minnu Muralidharan is doing her +2. Swathy Muralidharan is in 10th standard and Swetha Muralidharan is at 6th standard.
