Mr K C Babu is the Owner and Managing Director of ARAS Group of Companies which is the pioneer in medical engineering and medical equipments in the UAE. Specialized in medical engineering, Mr Babu established ARAS Group in 1976. Today ARAS Group is a well known name in the field of medical gas piping systems and medical equipments. Spread over four countries ARAS Group is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company with a team of about 120 dedicated professionals.
In 1976 Mr Babu started Beena Trading LLC in Dubai that distributed medical disposables and surgical equipments. To expand the company profile medical engineering products were added to the company portfolio in 1990. Today Beena Trading also deals with hospital furniture, accidents and emergency equipments, medical and laboratory equipments and centralized medical gas system. To meet the expectations and demands of the market Beena Trading is committed to introduce new medical products and technologies in the UAE.
Mr Babu established the ARAS Medical Devices and Equipments Company in 1993. ARAS is specialized in designing, supervising, supplying and executing medical engineering projects. Today ARAS Group spreads over the whole of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iran, India and the US. With about 35 years of experience ARAS offers the best products and services to the customers. Mr Babu has established ARAS Biomedical Division that deals with a wide range of biomedical products.
ARAS General Trading LLC and ARAS Industrial Trading LLC deal with industrial equipments and products. ARAS General Trading provides various professional engineering services like designing, supervising, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of industrial equipments.
Born in Kunnutharayil House at Pravinkoode in Chengannur, Alappuzha, Mr K C Babu is interested in football, reading and travelling. Married to Mrs Valsamma Babu, Mr Babu has two children, Mr Benson Babu Cherian and Mrs Beena Tony who are involved in the family business.
