Johnson. J. Manjooran begins his career when he joined Hotel Sheraton Mumbai on 1972 and continued to work there for 3 years. In 1975 he went to Zhakhir Group of Hotels, Dubai. He worked in another companies such as Plus Point, Al Mewasic Gen trading etc. He was the member of social organizations such as Sharjah Indian association, Ajman Indian Association and Indian Club Dubai.
Having qualified as B.sc(Chemistry) and Catering Diploma, Johnson. J. Manjooran belongs to 8A. Peevees Triton at Marine Drive in Kochi. Now settled at Sharjah with his wife Shoba, who is a housewife. The couples are happy with two children, Maya and Deepa. Maya is doing MIB and MIT and Deepa B.sc(Hospitality Management).
