Mr. Shafeek Rahman is the Director of Falcon Group of Companies. Falcon Global General Trading, one of the leading importers in United Arab Emirates today, was first established in 1981 by Mr. M.M. Moidunny as Falcon Foodstuff. The first store was a retail shop in old Hamriya Fruit & Vegetable market, Dubai. Those were the days of the oil boom which changed the fortunes of Dubai. This economic boom in the gulf soon brought forth people from all over the world to Dubai. Their culinary needs were as diverse as their social and geographic differences.
Dedicated and experienced staff, coupled with ever growing customer base, wide range of product Falcon Foodstuff saw the potential for importing fresh fruits and vegetable and diversified the activities into importing it from US, Europe and Indian sub-continent.
Today a logistics fleet of more than 85 vehicles operating from different locations is catering to more than 5000 customers throughout the UAE. They in turn make sure that fruits, vegetables and other products are available to whoever needs it in the gulf. A dedicated and trained staffs of over 300 works to make sure that these supplies are made on time. Under the guidance of Mr. Moidunny, the delivery of quality products at reasonable prices is ensured to the local and expatriate population of United Arab Emirates. With over 300 million dollar turn over and catering to a spectrum of clients, the growth of Falcon Global General Trading continues today at a phenomenal pace.
