Renjini Santhosh, hailing from Oyoor in Kollam, is a programme producer/singer at Radio Asia 1269 AM. Earlier she has worked as an anchor at Kairali TV for four years. She has also anchored many stages shows and performed as a singer. Besides, she has also conducted many katcheris.
Renjini has participated in the music competitions of school and college youth festivals. She had also been a college-level kalathilakam for two years. She was a winner of Sarigama programme broadcast by Asianet.
Renjini won the Asia Vision Best RJ Award in 2014. The popular programmes hosted by her are Morning Café, Thirakkil Alpasamayam, Sangeethavarsham, Bharatheeyam, Snehapoorvam 1269AM, and Kasavuthattam.
Renjini completed her schooling at Pakalkkuri Govt High School and Raja Ravi Varma Girls High School, Kilimanoor. Her higher education was at NSS College and SN Women’s College, Kollam. She pursued MA Music at University Department of Music. She has also undergone training in Akashavani.
Born as the daughter of Ramachandran Pillai, an ex-serviceman, and Sree Kumari Amma, Renjini is married to Santhosh. The couple is blessed with two children-son Niranjan, a 9th standard student, and daughter Neelambari, a 4th standard student.
