Nithya Ravindran, hailing from Thrissur, is an RJ at Radio ME 100.3 FM. Before joining Radio ME, Nithya has worked as a junior editor at a private firm in Mumbai and also in a publishing firm. She has also worked as a coordinator, programme producer, copy writer and script writer at Chennai Live 104.8 FM. Besides she has worked as an RJ at Gold FM and also used to do part-time job in Radio Mango.
Nithya also hosts stage shows. Her writings have been published in various magazines.
Nithya was born as the daughter of Ravidran, an employee of Reserve Bank of India, and Padmaja, a home maker. Her schooling was at St John’s High School, Chennai, and Gokul Dham High School. For higher studies, she went to Hathay College of Arts & Science, Mumbai, SIES Mumbai , Mumbai University and Madras University.
During free time, Nithya enjoys listening to music, dancing, travelling and reading.
