M.J Thomas is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of A.P.T Global which started in the year 2003. APT Global Marine Services LLC is a leading service provider of marine construction, engineering & repair services in the Middle East Gulf & the Indian Subcontinent. Since its establishment in 2003, they have grown in expertise, experience and excellence in the Maritime Industry through innovation & sustained improvement. Their emergence as a dependable participant in the field has been achieved through optimization of our knowledge in the industry, innovation, and adherence to quality standards. They listen to the changing needs & specific requirements of our customers & value long standing relationships with them.
Their core activities include dredge construction, refurbishment and parts construction, ship repair & conversion of small to large vessels, dry docking, dredge parts construction & refurbishment, harbour construction, oil & gas related installation & industrial construction. They have an engineering enterprise in Holland (RAL Marine) which assists, supervises & controls production & processes for highly complicated jobs requiring extreme accuracy.
In October 2011, they successfully launched & handed over 2 cutter suction dredgers (CSD 500) to a highly satisfied client (Vosta LMG) on time & in line with the contract terms which has resulted in us obtaining new orders for other services from them. This has opened new opportunities for them in Europe & US. APT has now signed a cooperation agreement with VOSTALMG for dredger construction and repair in the MENA region. They have also been recognized as authorized repair yard for VOSTA engineered vessels for MENA and most of Asia.
M.J Thomas embarked on his career in the year 1973 at Dubai Intl Marine Services. In 1999 he joined Rich Marine group and remained up to 2004.
Hailing from Mathilunkal House at Thiruvalla, M.J Thomas is now settled at Dubai with his wife Mrs. Mariamma Thomas. She is working in government health services. They are blessed with three children, Seema Thomas(B.D.S), married and settled at Alappuzha, Sumi Thomas(M.B.B.S, M.D), married and settled at Kerala and Seena Thomas(M.B.A + Master of account).
