Mr Fakih N P is the founder of the Fakih Group of Companies, one of the leading companies that deals with manufacturing, trading and exporting of a variety of souvenirs, traditional gifts, handicrafts, lamps, decorative items, oil perfumes, frames and clothing items. Having established the company in 1994, Mr Fakih is also the managing director of Fakih Group. Started as a small shop in Dubai, the courage, perseverance and hard work of Mr Fakih and his team made Fakih Group a leader in the field of gifts and handicrafts.
Mr Fakih has been constantly travelling to different countries like Africa, China, Thailand and Vietnam to gain more ideas and designs. Mr Fakih has expanded his business to various countries and places. Apart from the UAE, today Fakih Group of Companies spreads to China, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Burma, Cambodia, Morocco, Africa, Indonesia and Turkey. The company has outlets in Belgium, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, South Africa and all over the UAE. In Dubai itself Fakih Group has many outlets like Antique Museum, Aladin’s Cave, Gift World in Jebel Ali Resort & spa Hotel, Tebsa Trading LLC, Gift Tent and IBN Al Asaada in Karama.
Most of the products of Fakih collections are hand crafted goods created by talented traditional artisans from various countries. The products are mostly wood carvings and to preserve the nature they are planting thousands of trees while cutting one. Fakih Group provides the designs and raw materials and manufactures products in 12 different countries including India. Almost 60% of the products are manufactured in India. The workforce of Fakih Group comes around 3050 craftsmen of which 1006 are from India.
