Dona Sebastian, a native of Changassery in Kottayam district, is an RJ at Hit 96.7 FM. She hosts the popular programme ‘Hit on Request’ and handles music at the Music Station.
Also a talented dancer, Dona has been learning classical dance for the past 13 years and has performed in many stage shows. She was a regular participant of almost all the interschool and youth festivals.
Earier, Dona has anchored TV shows on Asianet, Jeevan, Kairali and Asianet Plus. During her school days, she was an RJ at Recess Radio for several years and has won a Radio Bursary Scholarship training with a leading radio presenter. She was also a member of the students’ council for eight consecutive years. During her school days itself, she used to host various shows on renowned Malayalam television channels such as Asianet and Kairali. She also used to freelance as a voice-over artist for radio commercials.
Dona holds a BA (Hons) in PR, Advertising and Media from Middlesex University and has done a course on Civil Aviation at Emirates Aviation College.
Born as the daughter of P J Sebastian, a businessman, and Vincy Sebastian, Dona completed her schooling at Indian High School, Dubai.
Dona is married to Rijin Varghese. Her favourite pastimes are travelling, dance, adventure sports and movies.
