Mr. Able Cherian is the founder of Geobel Exhibition Services LLC. Started in 1998 with 30 employees, today Geobel is one of the leading companies that offer services like interior design, assistance to event planners, and exhibition display systems. Mr Cherian also holds the position of managing director of Geobel.
Geobel Exhibition Services take up contracts for various exhibitions at all the major exhibition venues in the UAE and across the world. Geobel provides complete solution to exhibition, display and conference needs. Geobel designs exhibition stands and graphics to suit all budgets that varies from high-quality purpose built-stands to cost-effective pop up displays. Geobel is also the sole distributor for Nomadic Display, a leading producer of portable and modular display systems in the UAE. Geobel offers objective and practical assistance to companies that organize events, or developing and operating event venues. Other services provided by Geobel are interior designing, different styles of kiosks and display systems.
Specialized in event management, Mr Cherian came to Dubai in 1995 and joined Thomas Bennett as designer. Two years in Thomas Bennett and he moved to Circle Exhibition. There he was in the marketing department for 11 years after which he joined Metalco Engineering Company LLC.
A graduate in commerce, Mr Cherian belongs to Puthumullil House at Ramamangalam in Ernakulam. At college he was actively involved in college politics and was the politics district secretary in 1992. He became the college union general secretary also. Apart from politics he is interested in books, movies, travelling and football. Mr Cherian is a life member of Kolenchery Association and committee member of Friends of Sharjah. He was also the joint secretary of YMCA for 2 years. His wife is Mrs Pearl Able who is working as nurse and the couple has a son, Enoch Cherian.
